The thing about the Ozone 11 Elements is, it's AI .. All you have to do is click one button and have it "listen" to your track. It does whatever.. EQ, volume, yadda yadda, then you can adjust those things after the fact. But whatever it does always sounds better than the best I was able to...

There's several versions. "Elements" is all you'd ever need for a hobbyist / home studio type thing. I did a 10-day trial of the full version of Ozone 11, and it was analysis paralysis with all the configuration.

Ozone 11 Elements is $20 right now.

Naw man.. I played in a rock cover band when I got out of the Army. Got married, and went to work for an engineering company. Didn't play much for many years. Retired now, so I'm blessed to have the time to get back into playing !

Yeah, I think that's the closest I've ever managed to get to the elusive "early VH tone".. but a buddy of mine reminded me.. I used the wrong pickup. And he was right. I used a guitar equipped with a JB pickup, when I should have used another guitar I have with an Ibanez Super 70 pickup. Too...
