Ibanez Tube Screamer - TS9 Vs TS808

So, I'm interested in a new overdrive pedal and have decided on a Tube Screamer. Problem is, couldn't decide on the TS9 or the TS808. So, after a search, I found what I feel is the best comparison of the two and thought I'd share it here. This may have been posted here somewhere else, but I didn't see it and thought it could help others decide as well.

I love those two pedals, but back in the 1980's, I replaced then with an Arion Hot Watt 2.
The Hot Watt 2 just hit my dirty channels much more dynamics that those Tube Screamers.
Strange, how some inexpensive gear sound better that the higher priced gear .

Nice setup. It's simple but it seems to do the job.

What I have is a TS9 modded by AnalogMan to the TS9/808 Silver mod.
I also run it into Guitar Rig 7 on computer which emulates the 808 as well.
