It's like the mere mention of Nugent's name sets a host of those dudes into a seething rage...tears clouding their eyes inhibiting them from dialing in their tone and staining their tan pants. All joking aside, it is crazy because that's a true story.

All this talk of Ted so I'm going to have to share this - great set from 1976...he and Derek St. Holmes were such a great pair, in my opinion.

On a side note about Ted - Years ago I was at work (I worked as a KM at a restaurant/club) and there was a really good cover band playing that night. Well, a dude was selling sugar cube acid so I took 3, then 2 more about 30 minutes later, then 2 more about an hour after that for a total of 7 hits. Anyways, things were going extremely well and at about my peak they started to play Stranglehold almost to perfection. Have you ever heard Stranglehold while tripping balls? I HIGHLY recommend it! This was over 20 years ago, and every time I hear the song it always brings me back to that moment in time.
